It is imperative that we as Christians regard the Reformation of the 16th century as more than just another date in history, because continual Reformation is at all times needed in the church to preserve the pure Word of God. Today we learn from Christ and His Holy Word, that if you desire true freedom in life, you need to come humbly before the cross of Jesus. There is no other way!
