This morning, Scripture talks about imitation. In fact, Scripture is very clear about teaching us life by imitation. And what we will see today is that there is no other way but to face the fact that all of us are going to imitate someone or something, and that it is a good thing to be an imitator! Watch and see the Christ and His Word in action, then stand up for the Truth and send it, post it, share it with your friends to spread the Glorious Gospel Message of salvation to the world!

“The Word” John 8:30-36 (Reformation Sunday)
On this Reformation Sunday, it is imperative that we as Christians regard the Reformation of the 16th century as more than just another date in history, because continuous Reformation is at all times needed in the church to preserve and protect God’s Inerrant Word!

“What’s in It For Me?” Mark 10:23-31
God’s Word for today is a continuation from last week’s message regarding the rich young ruler. It takes place immediately after the disciples had just witnessed this good moral man turn away from Jesus sorrowful because he had many possessions, and he was not willing to give it all up, if needed, to follow after Christ.

Our message today, deals with salvation and entrance into heaven and emphasizes the one great question: “What’s in it for me?”

Watch and see the Christ and His Word in action, then send it, post it, share it with your friends to spread His Gospel Message of salvation to the world!

“Mr. Good Meets Jesus” Mark 10:17-22
Recorded in God’s Word today we are introduced to one of the finest young men found in the Bible. He was polite. He was sincere. He was moral. He was good. And while this surely sounds like the beginning of a wonderful Christian story, what we will see, is that this story is one of the most sad and ill-fated incidents found in Scripture.

“The Day for the Righteous” James 5:15-20
Both from the standpoint of principles and ideologies, America is suffering a heavy and very drastic erosion. Case after case can be cited to substantiate this dangerous immoral and dishonorable direction which we as a nation are traveling.

However, even though this erosion is occurring before our very eyes, there is cause for optimism, because today is the day for the Christian Church to reassert herself and to stand up and to be counted for the truth! In other words, this day is NOT a day for pessimism, but of opportunity.

    “Redefining Greatness” Mark 9:33-37
There is often a tendency to use certain words, but to use them in a meaningless manner thru misuse or over usage. When this happens words can take on a meaning much different than originally intended. In other words, proper context in language is important. This fact of contextual understanding is especially important in understanding the Bible. Today Jesus redefines for us the word “great” and He puts this word in its proper context in relation to our eternal salvation!
